After over a decade of working in the dog industry, and learning about many different philosophies and training styles, I have come to realize obedience training is just the tip of the iceberg.

So many people turn to obedience to try to manage their dog’s behavior, and see very limited results. That is because a dog’s behavior is impacted by so much more than just their ability to comply. They are autonomous individuals with rich inner lives. Environment, health, nutrition, genetics, and the impact of stress and trauma play huge roles in behavior.

I started my dog camp in March of 2022 with the mission to improve the quality of life for the dogs I work with and the families they live with. I strive to meet their needs for exercise, mental stimulation, and socialization by providing them with weekly group adventures in enriching environments.

Now, I am taking all of the knowledge and skill I’ve gained from working with dogs over the past 12 years, and offering services to families who are struggling with their dog’s behavior. I aim to strengthen your relationship with your dog, teach a clear communication system so you can teach and reinforce behavior, help you better understand and meet your dog’s needs, and teach your dog new ways to cope with stress through relaxation techniques.
